A Precious Gift--Never Forget Janessa & Hope Abigail

The mention of my daughter's name may bring tears to my eyes, but it never fails to bring music to my ears. If you really want to show me that you care, let me hear the beautiful music of her name. It soothes my broken heart and sings to my soul.

"If you know someone who has lost a child, and you're afraid to mention them because you think you might make them sad by reminding them that they died--you're not reminding them. They didn't forget they died.

What you're reminding them of is that you remembered that they lived, and that is a great gift."

Another Thanksgiving without my Babies

This is the 7th Thanksgiving I have endured without my babies. Holidays never seem to get any easier. Sure, I don't feel the gut wrenching pain that I felt each Thanksgiving when my grief was just fresh and new like in 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2014, but, the holiday is still tainted with a deep sadness inside me and an emptiness that blankets me and makes me unable to fully enjoy them anymore. I can still find moments of joy, but, the holiday season is not easy for me because it is when I miss my angel babies even more. So I may not be as thankful for the holidays or enjoy them as I use to, but, I am grateful for a chance to remember my babies and create holiday pictures for them as my way to still mother them.

Missing you this Thanksgiving, Janessa, Hope, Jason, and Rae Anne <3 <3 <3 <3

Luminaria

We got the chance to go to Luminaria at Thanksgiving Point--my favorite gardens where I go around Janessa and Jason's angel birthdays, tonight.  I guess we lucked out because apparently earlier it was lightening and thundering and a snow blizzard.  Our ticket time was for 8 pm and by that time the storm had pretty well fizzled out.  It was still really cold and windy, but, being bundled up in 3 layers of clothes it was okay.  It was Amazing and so Beautiful!!!!  I LOVED all the little trees with lights and the lighted streams, but, my favorite thing was the field of luminary's synchronized to music and the battery lighted lanterns in The Light of Christ exhibit.  When I saw all the lanterns and luminaries, all I could think was how awesome it would be to do this on my front lawn and write angel children's names on the lanterns or luminaries.

So very grateful the weather half way cooperated with us and that we got a chance to go see this on the members discounted night.  It was definitely worth the $10 per ticket that we paid, but, I'm not sure I would have paid the $20 per ticket that they are charging for the next month, that seems a little overpriced.

Thanksgiving at the Cemetery 2016

Went to visit Janessa at sunrise this morning.  It was freezing!  Had another melt down at the cemetery.  Love remembering her and decorating her grave but I hate being there around holidays.  Today sucks--it is going to be a very long day and week.

2016 Christmas Angel Tree

I was finally able to put the Christmas Angel Hats onto the Angel Tree today.  I wish I was a little bit taller so I could reach more branches on this tree, but, oh well.  This year I surrounded the tree with solar lights and pinwheels and the angel solar lights I made.  It looks really beautiful with the 400+ Angel Hats.

Our Angel Children are LOVED, MISSED, and REMEMBERED this holiday season.

((Hugs)) to all as the holidays get closer and closer <3

First Snow

Got our first snow for the winter season so I went out and made Rae Anne a snowheart for her EDD today.

Because of the snow and cold I'm delaying putting the angel Christmas Hats on the Christmas Angel Tree to another day. Today is a good day to stay inside, wrap up in a blanket, find a good movie to watch while sipping hot cocoa <3

Be Still and Know that I am God

Sometimes God
Calms the Storm . . .
Sometimes He let's the Storm rage
and Calms His Child.
Author Unknown

At times there appears to be no light at the tunnel's end-no dawn to break the night's darkness. . .We feel abandoned, heartbroken, alone. If you find yourself in such a situation, I plead with you to turn to our Heavenly Father in faith. He will lift you and guide you. He will not always take your afflictions from you, but He will comfort and lead you with love through whatever storm you face.
